Help us build The Curtis Center for Arts and Education

The Curtis Center will be a “college-like” campus for individuals with disabilities and community members to enhance their academic, artistic, and athletic abilities.

The Curtis Center will provide vocational development skills and employment opportunities through theater ticket and concession sales, greenhouse sales such as holiday pumpkins, janitorial opportunities both inside and outside the center, and set building and tech support for the theater.

Sculpting, pottery, technology, photography, academics including sciences, social studies, mathematics, language arts, vocational training and social skills training will occur within the walls of this new facility.

Fitness, cardio, dance, personal physical improvement, individual and team athletic practices, tournaments allowing personal development and athletic opportunity.

The lobby will welcome all who enter with an interest in arts & gathering. Art shows, musical and theatrical performance, gathering and celebrating will take place in this beautiful facility.

Gardening classes, spring time potting plants and holiday poinsettias grown for resale will be provided with the outdoor / indoor  greenhouse. The greenhouse will provide opportunity for vocational development through sale of products grown as well as providing a sense of accomplishment while watching plant growth.
